Basically, Paper Quilling, or Paper Filigree, is the creation of rolls and scrolls using
thin strips of Quilling paper. The art of
Quilling involves the pinching of the loose rolls to
create miniature shapes. Paper Quilling kits contain all the
papers and patterns to create the Quilling images but also
include instructions for the very basics up to the skills
required to complete the kit. The only additional supplies you
will need when purchasing a kit will be the Quilling tools, a
slotted tool and a needle tool. Quilling is a very
inexpensive craft enjoyed by all ages. It appears a timeless
craft.
