We offer 2-hour "Product Technique and Design Demonstrations" in the mornings and afternoons Saturdays.. No registration necessary for the Show & Tell sessions unless given by a Guest Instructor.  When we offer a Guest Instructor there will be a $5.00 per student fee payable. Pre-paid seats are reserved on a first-paid basis. There will usually be a hands-on class on Saturday afternoon and the fee will be $10.00 for a 2 hour session. If it is a guest instructor, you would want to attend the morning class so you have a heads-up on the techniques and the card designs you will be doing in the afternoon. Registration limited to 8 students.

Jane will teach special occasion cards using Ecstasy products from the 3D's, punches, stickers, paper pricking and vellum embossing.

Kal returns for his first Fall instruction seminar

Kal will demonstrate techniques using Alcohol inks (101 on using Alcohol inks) and in particular a technique called Faux bleaching. Very cool. He will also be making a folded shirt card which is also a winner. The shirt will be the card itself. His work is always intricate, usually involves folding, and very creative.

All supplies are prepared in advance so registrations may be shut down a couple of days before class. This is a great opportunity to work with the owner of the business and complete designs she has personally created for her stamps.

Carol will teach a different selection of cards for the afternoon class.

Update on in-store NEWS
 

Kal will be returning in the fall.
Carin will also be demonstrating in the fall.
AJ is a new addition to our fall line-up of guest instructors.

We also have some prominent owners of suppliers in our business attending in the fall for special hands-on presentations.
The first presentation will be given by Carol Harrison of Chapel Road stamps. There will be two class sessions available. Saturday September 25th. 2 sessions, 3 hours each, assembling 10 cards which are pre-cut. Some base work has been done to enable you to complete the projects in the class time. You will, however do the main stamping and coloring. learning her special techniques. Class fee including all materials is $35.00 per session. Pre-booking classes now.

July was a re-decorating month throughout the store. We have made a good start but we can see decorating and new presentations cannot possibly be completed that easily so it will be on-going. New presentation boards and in progress but then, of course, Christmas will be need to be addressed very soon.

August will see stock clearances to make way for new and exciting products for the fall. We would like to see a much larger presentation of stamps and all our wood stamps will be on sale.
September will be a re-stocked presentation with focus on expanded stamps. Check with store directly for varied product clearance prices and reductions.

Angela will be semi-retiring in September and the business will be available for sale so she can retire.

Please direct all enquiries to Angela or Wes. The store will be listed for sale later in September so early enquiries and your best offer could make the business a very attractive purchase.
