Annual Springfest Weekend - Sat./Sun. May 23/24th

9am - 5pm daily. Annual Fest of Show and Tell demonstrations with Guest
Instructors and hands-on opportunities throughout the store. Expect Guest Instructors and new products we have saved to present
specifically at this Show. There will be a total of 10 Show and Tell seminars and
continuing hands-on classes. First come basis. Lunches will be complementary on
both days. There will also be large product clearances at deeply discounted
prices for this weekend only. Discount tables will be outside at 8:30am and
doors open at 9:00am. The 50% discount wall in the Yellow Room will be reduced
to 70% for the weekend. Coffee and Tim Bits await you, save your seat and enjoy

SATURDAY MORNING

FRAMING ROOM: Guest Instructor Kal Varga will be demonstrating Paper
Piecing card designs that are absolutely the best. We have seen the mock-ups and
they are outstanding. You are welcome to bring your camera and to take notes but there will
be no patterns available.
CLASSROOM: Guest Instructor Sharon Stead with Stamp Barn Stamps. Sharon's
class will present a variety of stamped cards using the bright Memories ink pads
and a variety of glitter and pen embellishing plus water coloring with the
Memories ink pad. These cards will all basically be relatively quick to create with a
different look to our usual designs. Very crisp. Sharon will also incorporate
the decorative use of the Scor-it Board and attachments, hopefully the
attachments will be
in available by that date. The stamps will all be cling stamps and Sharon has an
excellent line of acrylic mounts with new fine grids to accommodate the rising
need for that style of acrylic. This class will be repeated in the afternoon and
students will be asked to give up their seats after the class is over.
HANDS-ON MAKE AND TAKE:
Sat. 10am - 11am : Angela will teach hands-on Flower Soft floral stems in a
vase.
Sat. 11am - Noon : Lynne will teach hands-on foiling project.

products from Crafty Secrets. A fabulous Victorian theme we have saved for Open
House. Products include fabric images, stickers, themed stamp sets and the cards
will be totally Victorian embellished with laces, pearls, glitters, etc. This
class will also be repeated on Sunday morning, the card creations will vary but
the theme will be the same.
FREE HANDS-ON MAKE AND TAKE:
Sat. 1:30pm - 2:30pm - Johanna will teach hands-on 3D's.
Sat. 2:30pm - 3:30pm - Angela will teach hands-on Flower Soft floral
stems in a vase.
Sat. 3:30pm - 4:30pm - Johanna will return with Pyramid 3D's, which is a
new, simple and effective variation of the 3D's.

and well worth learning. The effect is bold and outstanding, not watery and
pastel. - enhanced with glitters etc. it is eye-catching. Sharon will also
incorporate the techniques for using the Scor-it Board and show you how to
create a folded photo album card.
FRAMING ROOM Angela presents Brass Embossing Paste. Always
something new to offer you, always a great learning seminar for the best of
techniques, the tips and tricks and advice. Card Sample Board opposite the cash
with a presentation of the various techniques and products Angela will use in
this seminar.
HANDS-ON MAKE AND TAKE:
Starting at 10:00am, Lynne will start the day hosting punched flower
make-it take-its. Fast & Fun embellishment for cards and scrapbook pages. Johanna at 11am
will be teaching her hands-on 3D cards using the
new Pyramid designs.

He will demonstrate a box containing the wonderful cheater-folded
Water lily, a new stair card, the Belgium Bell and how to create easel cards. We
anticipate offering a hands-on night class following up this class so you may
want to enquire about that if this class blows you away. You are welcome to
bring your camera and make notes. Patterns will not be available.
