We would like to thank our customers and demonstrators for making our Christmas Open House a resounding success this year on November 10/11th.. A large event in the store such as this relies on many aspects for success. Our vision is to to educate and entertain our customers at these events.
It is our pleasure to serve complimentary lunches and we would like to thank Kyle and our staff for once again providing such a great buffet on the Sunday. We must thank our nephew Darin for donning his elf-ware and serving the waiting throngs hot sausage rolls until they reached the front of the line at the buffet table.
We are always so touched when our customers contribute to our kitchen, like Vi, Cheryl and our neighbour, Marion Pacey, who spent their time baking, Audrey who made a trip to the LCBO to ensure we had a little rejuvenating lift at the end of the day, Tasha and Brad for the fruit and veggie trays, and our own Johanna who baked and "trifled" to oversee the dessert section of the buffet. Thank you all again.
A special thank-you to our demonstrators Kal, Carin, Lynne, Johanna and Jane who shared their talents with you and no doubt inspired you.
Finally, behind the scenes, our suppliers who worked, sometimes within 48 hours, to get the products to our door for the Open House.

The winner of the lovely wall-art creation donated by Carin Brahm was Diane Reid. A donation of $55.00 will be made to Martha House from donations received and matched by the store.
