Angela Otsuka - President, Founder
Angela is a credited teacher in most of the paper arts, originally starting with Paper Tole, transfer art and true decoupage. She has introduced many new ideas, techniques and guidelines used in the Paper Tole industry today. She is a Certified Product Demonstrator through HIA (Hobby Industry Association) based in the United States and a local teacher near Toronto, Canada for the paper arts. She is an avid stamping enthusiast, decorates all the wedding invitations she receives with Quilling and frames them for gifts, but her true hobby is scrap booking. She sees her Memory Albums as THE legacy to leave of a life she enjoys. Card making is a constant challenge to present new ideas since she can no longer buy anyone a card - it must be "created".

She attends the Annual Trade Shows in the United States - The CHA Shows - held in February and July yearly. These Trade Shows offer the latest products, ideas and techniques from around the world available in the market place today.

Angela has also appeared regularly on The Life Channel's Craftscapes with Sue Warden, demonstrating paper crafts from Paper Tole with silicone texturing (this technique was developed by Angela) and feathering, to wax seal impressions for card making.

She says it's hard to tell where business leaves off because paper crafting is an everyday event. I think we can truly call her a hands-on owner.

Wes Otsuka - Treasurer, Co-Founder
Wes has been a CPPF (Certified Professional Picture Framer) for over 30 years and is the expert in framing Paper Tole. He served on the Board of Directors for the CCHA (Canadian Craft & Hobby Association) for several years. We all know his first love is music and he plays trumpet in 3 local concert bands.
Jane McLeod - Store Manager/Scrapbook Consultant

Jane has been with Angela's Craft Centre for over 22 years now. Coming to the business as a qualified florist with a wealth of knowledge in the crafts, she too was a Paper Tole teacher for many years prior to joining the company. Jane also has been most helpful in creating and developing new techniques that truly set our work apart and has pioneered invaluable ideas. Jane is our most active scrapbook  teacher along with managing the store on a day to day basis, she also heads up the internet sales department for www.creativepapercrafts.com  and is a favorite with our French-speaking customers being that she is bilingual. Enter Jane's home and you enter an absolutely classy craft showcase in home décor.
Lynne MacPherson - Customer Service Staff/Design Team
Lynne has been working in the store for the past 7 years and store shoppers are always assured of a pleasant greeting and her total attention to their needs.  She is diligent with a  personal follow-up on any orders placed. She has taken over the knitting section to ensure a constant supply of the most popular yarns are on hand and special orders are serviced in a prompt manner. Lynne is also an avid stamp artist herself and has graduated to our Design Team bringing her own special talents with color, papers and creative design backed by a thorough knowledge of the products. You can instantly recognize her sample cards in the store. They are the ones with delicate ribbons, a Victorian look and fabulous color combinations and card design. Glitter is never overlooked when it is appropriate to the design process. Lynne is an independent lady and has three grown children who are busy making plans for their futures. Nathan is now married to Christine and teaches Canadian History in the local area. Whitney is an avid horsewoman and she will soon be graduating with veterinarian skills to pursue her career working with the animals she is so fond of. Last but not least, Geoffrey is working his way towards his future as a Chef and has certainly elevated the culinary expectations in Lynne’s kitchen.
Johanna Crozier - Customer Service Staff
Johanna started working with us over 12 years ago and has seen many changes in products and concepts in the store. Johanna is married to Chuck and has 2 grown daughters, a son and 6 grandchildren. Johanna is very active in the stamping and scrapbooking sections of the store and owns a large range of products to play with at home. We jokingly have her open the orders because we can count on her to sort the stock on a one for her and the rest for the store basis! Actually, we don't think Chuck wants her to open any more orders at all! She certainly is a hands-on employee. Hailing originally from Germany, Johanna not only offers a friendly face and a helpful hand but can converse with our German customers. Johanna works Mondays and Thursdays on a regular basis and comes in additional hours whenever we are needy, which is often. Thankfully she thinks she is only semi-retired so we keep imposing on her freedom.
Kyle Otsuka - Our Chef Extraordinaire!
Kyle is our resident on-call chef and organizes the buffet table for the Special Events for our Christmas Open House and SpringFest Celebration when we entertain up to 200 customers a day. We are most appreciative of the cooking talents and organizational skills Kyle literally "brings to the table" for these events when we entertain our customers.
Brad Otsuka - Founding Web Master
Brad is our original computer genius who was talented enough to create a web site beyond our hopes and dreams. We have been actively selling on the web since 1996 and we have evolved to offer more services that will serve our customers more efficiently and offer greater product presentation. Brad enabled us to keep pace with the web technology of today's marketplace. On a more personal level, he was the ultimate sports achiever in the field of baseball, basketball and football. Today, he is a full time Information Technology man and what little free time he has, he spends it on the golf course (he still plays a great game of football and played on two baseball teams this past summer)! Fortunately, he was able to find a talented young assistant in Anthony who was given the responsibility of creating this new website. Brad married Tasha in April of 2006 so we do have to leave him with some time to himself. His family now includes two lovely cats, a Siamese and a Himalayan.
Anthony Ouwehand - Web Master
Anthony took over our web site management from Brad when he was a student at McMaster University here in Hamilton. He worked for us throughout his education at McMaster and our staff and customers greatly enjoyed his visits into the store to work on our computer and maintain our web site. He graduated in 2007 and after several months of traveling in Egypt, Jordan and Europe he was "snapped up" by Dun & Bradstreet, accepting an English speaking job in Rotterdam, where he now lives. Anthony is a very talented man and we can only be very appreciative that he still maintains our website from afar. He would be very difficult to replace as his in-depth knowledge is absolutely essential to our website success. We are very fortunate to have such a talented and patient Web Master. His interests include knitting, beer brewing, guitar playing, and long walks on the beach (for all those ladies out there)!
