Wonderful edging pen for your cards - if you know the trick. The wide tip has a slit in it for the paper to slip into and then you glide the pen down the paper edge. However, lay it flat down on the edge of your counter, so it just hangs over, glide the pen along the paper edge, holding firmly in place. This method allows you to press down firmly on the paper and results in a straight consistent line. Be sure you have a constant adequate flow of ink but only pump your pen as necessary so as not to flood the tip.
When you use white core paper, the fold of the card will often reveal hints of the white core because the corlored surface splits a little if hassled, the leafing pens are perfect to run an edge just down the fold line. Great trick to cover the fold edge and by just doing the fold edge, you don't have to make all four edges even! What a good idea that is.
When you think the pen is at it's life's end and does not flow as you wish, help is on the way. Pull the nib out with a pair of pliers and put it back in the other way. You will have a flat tip now but it works just fine for many more lines and edgings.
