Description: This image was created on a tag using the yellow matte embossing paste. The matte finish makes it friendly to coloring after it is dry. Remove the template and wait for the image to totally dry.
Replace the stencil and tape in place, take the set of 3 primary oil sticks and a #2 stencil brush, rub the oil sticks on a useless CD to work part of the "skin" off then pick up the color from the CD and in a stencilling circular motion apply lightly to the image. Use mostly the red then finish with the blue for shading (creating green)on the pear and part of the leaf. The colors applied over the yellow paste base have the same effect as if you were mixing the red and the yellow oil stick and the blue and the yellow oil sticks. The result is a soft velvet look. Remove and clean the template. Dress with ribbons and use as it is or mount on an approriate cardstock. If you do not have any CD's to use as a palette, a styrofoam meat tray will suffice.
