This is a simple basic design to use for Washi Paper Quilting.
You will need the Washi Paper Quilting Bulk pack. Cut out a square from the card and a layer of foam just slightly smaller.
Cut out the Washi paper just a bit larger, enough that you can tape the paper around to the back over the foam and the backer. Slice the corners so the paper lays flat at the back.
We used a short length of Mitzuhiki paper covered cord to wrap the bag and to form the handle. Small flowers finish the design.
We did mount with Zots at first but found they tended to pop off due to the extra paper taped to the back. We found absolute success using the foam Mounting Squares.
We also have kits which have pattern instructions and sufficient foam and backer to use for many projects. .
You will need to purchase your paper separately as none of the kits contain paper.
